Chapter 7- The night is still young
I never worry, life is a journey
I just wanna enjoy the ride
What is the hurry? It’s pretty early
It’s ok, we’ll take our time
You’re the light, you’re the night
You’re the color of my blood
You’re the cure, you’re the pain
You’re the only thing I wanna touch
Never knew that it could mean so much, so much
She placed her small hand in his large on and he gently tugged her towards the dance floor. They walked to an area where no one could recognise them.
He placed his hand on her waist and squeezed them lightly in the response the which let out a moan.
She looped her arms around his neck. The distance between decreasing gradually. She placed her foot on his and they both swayed their hips to the music.
You’re the fear, I don’t care
‘Cause I’ve never been so high
Follow me to the dark
Let me take you past our satellites
You can see the world you brought to life, to life
His breath fanning over hers. His breath was ummm what Swara could describe was like fresh, minty. His closeness was affecting her way too much. Way more than she wanted to accept.
She could not even begin to understand why would a guy she met mere 3 days ago would affect her so much that she felt she would not be able to breath without him.
“Swara…” he whispered into the air and placed a light kiss on her neck, exactly where he had given her a brand new hickey this afternoon.
His whisper, the touch of lips sent a shiver down her spine. He was sucking the skin on her neck more like feasting on it like a hungry madman. Her hands moved from his neck to his hair gripping them tightly.
So love me like you do, la-la-love me like you do
Love me like you do, la-la-love me like you do
Touch me like you do, ta-ta-touch me like you do
What are you waiting for?
Sanskaar knew he should stay away from Swara but she was damn alluring attracting. He was like a flame to her moth. When he saw her dancing with Kavya he wished how it could have been him and so he followed her to the restroom and waited for her outside.
He took his chance and asked her out for dance and damn must be good timing she agreed. Here she was in his arms dancing with him like her life depended on it.
He felt her shiver and so asked her if she wanted to may be go out.
“You feeling cold?” He asked huskily.
When she nodded he held her arm and guided her out of the club. They walked out, the music fading in the background.
He placed his jacket over her shoulder.
“Thank you” she mumbled. He nodded. They walked in silence for a while. Swara and Sanskaar both were enjoying the silence. It is quite famously said that, don’t find a person who can hold a conversation you but find someone whose silence can talk with you.
“Stalking me?” Swara asked finally breaking the silence. She wanted to know this person more and to know she sure had to ask him great load of questions.
He chuckled. “Do you want me to?” he wanted to ask but instead said, “giving ourself lots of importance, aren’t we?!”
“Just joking, Sir” Swara said but was actually a little disappointed maybe even hurt with his words.
He sighed, “I was just joking Swara, you don’t to be so formal with me” Swara chewed on her lips but did not reply.
Sanskaar placed his hands on her shoulder and made her face him. He pulled out her bleeding lip from the grasp of her teeth and said, “Trust me Swara, I was just joking. I did not have any intention of hurting you with my words.”
He looked so sincere, his eyes asking her no not asking actually begging her to believe him. Not knowing why his words hurt her that much she just smiled nervously at him.
Her phone rang loudly cutting the silence in the air. Sighing she picked it up nervously biting her lips again. “Yes Ragini?” she answered nervously.
“Swara! Thank God, where the hell have you been?! We were searching for you like mad.. then we saw Ram Sir and he told us he saw you leave the bar?” Ragini said sounding stressed.
Swara looked at Sanskaar she knew she could not tell Ragini that she was with him.. She had to come up with a lie fast but before she could say anything, the phone on the other hand was snatched and it was Kavya who spoke, “You left the bar with some guy, din’t you Swara darling” Kavya said in her all knowing tone.
Swara did not know why but she felt as if Kavya knew she was with Sanskaar and was teasing her. How? but did she know.. they had always been careful when they met like to keep away from known eyes. Swara was no actually his student but everyone here thinks so and she so did not want to jeopardise his teaching career.
And also she did not know Kavya that well to know if she could trust her with this little piece of information. When Swara did not reply Kavya chuckled and said, “No need to worry Swara but we left the bar and have already reached our respective dorms but there was a big storm in this area and the whole way has been blocked by snow, so I guess you will have to stay with that mystery guy as there is no way you can come back here in this area”
Sanskaar was intently listening in on her conversation with her friends but just then his phone rang to and he moved away a bit to answer it.
“What the hell mann, Kavya. Where in the hell will I sleep for the night, I don’t even have enough money on me to book a room” but Kavya being Kavya had already disconnected the call and Swara was left gaping disbelievingly at her phone.
Sanskaar returned precisely at that time after attending his call.
“It was Ram” he said but when she raised her brows he answered her confusion. “He teaches politics in the University” She nodded.
“Can you please help me get back to my apartment? It was Ragini’s phone that…” But before she could continue he finished the sentence for her.
“there was a storm near your area and the roads have been blocked” When she nodded with those pleading eyes.
“Swara there is no way we can go through the blocked area but I live nearby and you can spend the night at my place” She hesitated. It was wrong on so many levels for her to spend the night at his place but she din’t she had any option so she nodded quickly.
“How many times should I tell you Swara, you can call me by my name”
“But SANSKAAR, how can I…”
“Look Swara, there is no way I can take you back to your dorm plus you don’t have enough money on you to book a room, yes I heard you. Also my house is just 4 minutes away from here, why not?!” he said exasperated.
Finally thinking it through she nodded and they walked the short distance to his house.
Sanskaar opened the door and both of them entered quietly but Swara wanted to scream and shout. Her friends had blatantly lied to her. The house she had woke up in yesterday had been Sanskaar’s house and not Kavya and Laksh’s. How could they?! but the real question was why did they?! and Swara could not for her life understand why would they need to lie?!
Had somehow Sanskaar saved her yesterday? even if he had why not acknowledge it. She would have thanked him but now these lies were making it painstakingly difficult to trust anyone here.. “Swara just gather all the information you need and the get the hell away from this weird place” she thought.
Sanskaar immediately regretted his decision of bringing her to his home.. How could he forget that she had woken up here after she had been injured?!
Before Swara could start hating him for lying to her he told her some half truth.
“Swara, I need to tell you something.”
When she nodded he continued, “Laksh and Kavya are my younger siblings”
She gasped loudly her eyes widened. “Sibblings, but why… how…”
“I am sure I don’t need to explain it to you how” he said with a harsh chuckle.
“They are Laksh and Kavya Maheshwari, my step-siblings.. this place was near to that spot in the jungle and so they brought you here yesterday”
Swara was speechless. She din’t know what to say after the revelations Sanskaar had just now made. If Kavya and Laksh were his siblings why din’t they just say so, why hide it?!
But before she could ponder over it for longer he took her hand in his and tugged her towards the stairs.
“You can sleep here for the night, I will bring you something to wear” Sanskaar said all the while his gazing at her milky thighs. They were so calling out to him that it took every ounce of self control he had not to push her against the wall and mark her as his. He just left without saying anything else.
“Weird guy” Swara muttered after he left.
Sanskaar returned with one of his Cotton t-shirt’s. He hand it over to Swara and asked her to change so could wash his clothes for her.
Swara went inside the washroom. Suddenly there was a loud thunder sound and the lights went off. Swara screamed loudly, ran out of the washroom and hugged Sanskaar tightly.
Sanskaar hugged her back rubbing his hand on her back to soothe her.
“shhh Swara! Don’t worry, I am here na, calm down”
“I am scared Sanskaar, when suddenly something happens, it sets my panic mode on, I don’t know why”
“Ssshh it will be fine” he repeated.
Suddenly Swara realised the position they were in plus what she was wearing and blushed to the shade of crimson red.
Even though it was dark Sanskaar could see perfectly fine. He noticed how t-shirt on her suddenly inched upwards also her blushing was making her all the more alluring to him.
Somehow controlling himself he said, “I need to go and start the generator, It is not automatic”
At the thought of staying alone in the dark even for a second, she quickly said,
“I’ll come with you” he nodded.
“Do you have some chocolates at your place, Sanskaar?” Swara purred suddenly.
At the change in the tone of her voice it struck him that the alcohol in her system was making its presence known.
Knew giving her chocolate right now was just going to give her one hell of a hangover tomorrow morning so instead he offered,
“how about some nimbupani?”
Swara pouted at being denied chocolate but nodded.
Sanskaar chuckled at her pout. Her pout just made her supple so much more alluring and kissable. He was so proud of himself for resisting her right now.
Same time, Another place.
“Sanskaar you are only mine. How long are you going to punish me for a small mistake. No! you have to come back to me. I know you are with that Swara only to make me jealous and that you don’t actually love her, but Baby enough of this already. I already tried to remove her from my path but aarrgghh her luck just saved her from me, I thought now that she is out of your life you will come back to me but no! she had to come back and spoil everything again.” She said talking to Sanskaar photo. Sanskaar was her obsession, he was only hers and for that if she had to kill that Swara she would gladly do so” She said rocking back and forth on her rocking chair with an evil smile bracing her lips.
